In our effort to highlight the charitable impact of golf on our communities, we’re featuring golf tournaments that are raising funds in benefit of important charities.


GOLF IS GOOD! October 2020: Agri-Turf Tournament Raises $70,000 for the American Cancer Society

​Santa Fe Springs, Calif. – October 22, 2020 – The Agri-Turf Tri-West 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament held on October 1, 2020, at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin, California, raised just over $70,000 for the American Cancer Society. In the past six years, tournament has raised over $339,000 for the American Cancer Society.

CGCOA is dedicated to developing strategic partnerships and strategies to help golf course owners provide a thriving recreational facility for the local community.

To achieve this, our members work together to better educate ourselves on new opportunities to run our golf courses better. Through personal contact with industry experts, whether they be fellow members or sponsors, the members of the CGCOA are exposed to the latest expertise, technology, resources and ideas to make themselves more successful.

Furthermore, all members of the association pledge to themselves and the public that they will abide by core values which distinguish them from non-members.

Working together, the members of the CGCOA are promoting themselves and the game of golf in a way that enhances their lives and enriches others.

Patriot Golf Day

In 2020, Folds of Honor announced their partnership with PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) to provide a full range of support to our Veterans and their families through their flagship golf campaign, Patriot Golf Day. PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.

Together, they were set to move Patriot Golf Day to Memorial Day Weekend. However, due to the current circumstances across the nation, they have moved Patriot Golf Day 2020 to Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4-7, 2020. | Learn more.
